Mother’s Day Kidical Mass + Yuba Demo Days

May 6, 2017

This Mother’s Day, stop by Warm Planet’s Mother’s Day Kidical Mass + Yuba Demo Days event. We’re unveiling Yuba’s new Bosch-equipped Spicy Curry electric cargo bike and new front-loading Supermarché. Both are available all weekend for test rides, kid seats available. (Sorry, kegs not available)

Bring your kids, cargo, dog or other stuff you want to haul and test out these fun and powerful cargo bikes. Plenty of new accessories to check out, and a Yuba rep to answer questions.

Schedule of events:

Test rides available Saturday, May 13 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Kidical Mass on Sunday, May 14 at 9:00 am from the shop to the Ferry Building

We’ll also have Yuba’s new Flip Flop kid’s cargo bikes for the little ones to test ride around the shop and on the ride. These kids’ cargo bikes are also balance trainers. Designed for children ages 1 to 6, the Flip Flop teaches your child how to ride a bike without bulky training wheels by allowing them to scoot along with their feet securely on the ground. The patented “flippable” frame grows along with your child. Simply flip over the frame to add an inch and extend its use for up to a year longer. Comes in the very stylish Cow or Giraffe models:

But wait, there’s more (you knew that was coming). Yuba’s bringing the Fender Blender Mundo so we’ll be making fresh in-house smoothies all day, for your pre- and post-ride fueling needs. Or, to keep the kiddos happy while you check out cool new stuff. Speaking of which, we’ll have exciting new accessories for your Yuba bikes in the shop too.

The fender blender Mundo. It’s a thing.

Finally, on Sunday morning, join us at the shop for a fun all-ages, all-abilities family fun ride, aka Kidical Mass, as we head out on Market Street down to the Ferry Building. Test ride our bikes or bring your own – and don’t forget to treat Mom to coffee and snacks at the Farmer’s Market. We’ll keep the shop open that day if you want to return and test ride more bikes. Or have one more smoothie for the road.
